Medical Billing and Coding Program

Medical Billing Professionals are responsible for their client’s income. They are retrievers of their client’s money. These professionals file claims to the insurance carriers and are responsible for making sure those claims are paid. They are also responsible for staying up to date with the changes that affect their client’s reimbursement.

On the other hand, coding is the process of assigning formal, standardized codes to diagnoses and procedures performed or identified by physicians. These standardized codes make it possible for healthcare providers to receive accurate and timely financial reimbursement from insurance companies and government programs such as Medicare. In Spectrum Healthcare Training Center, these two programs are offered together to produce, educate a well-rounded and knowledgeable professional.
